Skill Gap Assessment Tools
The Skill Gap Assessment is a new value-added tool on the TCC.
This assessment allows individuals to compare their current
skill set to those required by a specific job defined on the
TCC.
It will let individuals know those skills that they
meet or exceed and those skills that fall below the requirement.
With
this information individuals can plan their training and certification
path.
The Skill Gap Assessment is linked on each of the
job definition pages below the job description. To get started
begin reviewing the job roles on the TCC and then select
the job you would like to compare to your current skill set.

The Interest Quiz
This quick and easy assessment will help you decide
which information and communications technology (ICT) careers
are the greatest
interest to you. There are no wrong answers. You choose the
answer(s) that best describes you. This assessment is not
designed to be definitive tests of your success and is only
intended
as a guidance tool. The IT Interest Quiz will identify your
learning style and personality preferences and produce a
report with a list of ICT jobs that you will likely enjoy.
It has
ten questions with two possible answers. Simply choose the
answer that best describes you.
To print your final reports, click the right mouse button,
and choose print from the drop-down menu.
